Pop star Britney Spears gave birth to a 6-pound, 11-ounce baby boy just before 2 a.m. this morning, according to several media reports.
Both Us Weekly and National Enquirer reported this morning that Spears and husband Kevin Federline are now parents of two boys, as their first son, Sean Preston, was born September 14, 2005. Federline also has two children, Kori, 4, and Kaleb, 2, from a previous relationship.
The couple, who will celebrate their second wedding anniversary, have been ubiquitous in recent months, with Spears' pregnancy keeping the paparazzi busy and K-Fed busy promoting his upcoming rap album, Playing With Fire, on his own Federation Records.
Spears reportedly gave birth via Cesarean section, with K-Fed, her mother Lynn, and her sister Jamie Lynn at her side.
Beyonce: Jay-Z and I don't talk about marriage

Beyonce
As she continues to promote her new album, B'Day, which hits stores last week, Beyonce appeared on ABC's The View yesterday and addressed the constant rumors that she and longtime boyfriend Jay-Z are going to tie the knot. "It doesn't drive me crazy," she said of the rumors. "I understand. I was a fan of other celebrities and I wanted to know [if they were getting married]. I was interested. It's a part of my job. We've never talked about it and it's kind of protected our relationship. I think it's kind of kept us out of a lot of drama in the tabloids. Even though we're still in them, it's not as much as some celebrities."
Master P musical opens in Mississippi

Romeo stars in
Uncle Willy's Family.
Although he's been in the music business for quite a while, one wouldn't normally associate Master P with musicals. But the New Orleans rapper's first stage musical, Uncle Willy's Family, has just opened at the Temple Theater in Meridan, Mississippi. The musical, a tribute to his hometown and the devastation wrought on it by Hurricane Katrina, stars Master P's son, Lil Romeo, and his brother, Silkk the Shocker. "This is the most important thing I've ever done in my life," Master P said. The musical, which follows the plight of an uprooted family that is forced to move in with a distant uncle after being left homeless by storms, will tour America after its stint in Mississippi.
Jamiroquai singer arrested for assault

Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay
British police arrested Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay in London this morning for allegedly assaulting a member of the paparazzi that was staked outside a nightclub waiting to take his photo. The allegedly intoxicated Kay reportedly yelled, "What are you looking at?" and launched verbal tirades at photographers before he slapped one in the face, according to media reports. Police arrived and handcuffed Kay and arrested him on suspicion of assault. This is not Kay's first run-in with the paparazzi. Photographer Alan Grisbrook head-butted Kay during an argument over a broken camera in 2002, leaving the flamboyant singer with a broken nose.
Moby no fan of Bush

Moby
As President George W. Bush visited New York City yesterday to mark the fifth anniversary of the September 11 attacks, at least one person wished he hadn't. In a message posted to his Web site, electronic producer Moby launched a scathing attack on Bush, branding him a "liar" and "corrupt." The message tells Bush to "stay out of New York. You don't like us and we don't like you. Ninety percent of us voted for John Kerry in the last election. We don't trust you, and we believe, based on your record, that you've been a terrible president."
The message goes on to say, "You're not welcome here. You only come to New York City when you need to bolster your poll numbers. You came here after 9-11 even though you ignored warnings of terrorist attacks and cut funding to anti-terrorist programs. Go back to Texas where you can cut wood for the TV cameras. Or go back to Washington D.C. where you can watch Dick Cheney run the country. You are a liar. You are inept. You are probably the worst President that the United States has ever had to endure."
