The rap vixen announced today that she is partnering with a sporting-goods retailer and a boxer to donate toys to underprivileged youths in the Philadelphia area, where she is serving a one-year prison term.
The oft-scantily-clad rapper is currently serving a one-year prison term in Philadelphia for committing perjury to a grand jury about a shooting incident involving rival rapper Foxy Brown's entourage.
Kim's foundation, Lil' Kim Cares, has partnered with Philadelphia-based sports memorabilia retailer Mitchell & Ness and boxer Zab Judah to donate toys to disadvantaged youths 13 years of age and younger. The toy giveaway will take place Thursday at a rec center in Philadelphia. The event is free and open to the public.
Kim's latest album, The Naked Truth, was released in September after she began serving her prison sentence. It sold 109,000 copies in its first week and debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 chart.
