What do Bill Maher and Bobby Brown have in common?

Karrine Steffans and Bill Maher.
Karrine Steffans, the hip-hop supergroupie known as "Superhead" (you get one guess), has taken Bobby Brown into her Beverly Hills home ever since the former New Edition singer was served with divorce papers by Whitney Houston earlier this week, according to the New York Daily News. Steffans, the author of the best-selling book, Confessions of a Video Vixen, told the paper that although she and Brown are friends, she did not break up his marriage by working her, um, magic.
"I'm not a home-wrecker," she said. "I can't break up a 16-year marriage in a few months. I'm not that super." Steffans said she is simply helping Brown, who reportedly hadn't been living with Houston for months, through a difficult time, and she's even paid his cell phone bill. She said she's happily involved with on- and off-boyfriend, TV talk show host and comedian Bill Maher. "Bill and I have discussed Bobby," she told the paper. "But Bobby is not an issue in my relationship. I still love Bill. He's the love of my life. I know you'll see us back together."
Nas celebrates birthday in style

Nas
You're widely recognized as one of the greatest rappers alive, you're married to bombshell Kelis, and you're about to drop your debut album for Def Jam. If you're Nas, and it's your birthday, you have a lot to celebrate. God's Son celebrated his 33rd birthday Wednesday, and Kelis threw the rapper a surprise birthday party with an old-school hip-hop theme at Manhattan's Canal Room. Usher, P Diddy, Mario, Jadakiss, Nick Cannon, Dallas Austin, NBA players Carmelo Anthony and Chris Webber, Rosie Perez, Styles P., and Pras all attended, and Busy Bee, Just-Ice, Monie Love, Melle Mel, Slick Rick, and Doug E. Fresh performed at the event.
Elton John, George Michael make up

Elton John and George Michael
Elton John and George Michael are no longer squabbling over the status of Michael's personal life and music career. In an interview today with ITV in Britain, John said, "George and I are fine. He came and stayed down [at] my house last year. It's up to him what he does with his life, and I don't really want to get into that anymore." The 59-year-old singer caused a stir two years ago when he said Michael was miserable and needed to get out more.
Michael responded with a furious open letter saying John was no friend of his. "Elton John knows nothing about George Michael," Michael said at the time. "We have spoken rarely in the last 10 years, and what would probably surprise most people is that we have never discussed my private life. Ever." Earlier this year, Michael said he was considering refraining from making any more music so that the media would leave him alone, but he has since changed his mind, He is set to begin a European tour later this month, his first concert jaunt in 15 years. In 1998, Michael was arrested for lewd conduct in a public toilet in Los Angeles after being spotted by an undercover police officer. Soon after, he said publicly for the first time that he's gay.

People picks best- and worst-dressed

Beyonce
They're no Jennifer Aniston, but Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson are among the world's best-dressed celebrities, at least in the eyes of readers of People magazine. The mag ranked Aniston tops on its list, with Beyonce ay No. 4, Aguilera at No. 8, and Simpson at No. 9.
