Van Halen pens porn songs

Eddie Van Halen
The veteran rock guitarist has written and recorded two songs for the upcoming skin flick Sacred Sin, making him quite possibly the first rocker tied to--but not starring in--an adult film.
Van Halen told adult video news site AVN.com that his involvement stemmed from his friendship with Ninn Worx, the director of the film.
"I'm working with a friend--very simple," he said. "I like his work. Michael Ninn is like Spielberg to me: the imagery, the way he makes things look, just sensual," he said.
"We hooked up, I ended up doing the music, and it's some whompin-a** sh**," Van Halen continued. "I think it's the best work he's ever done, and me too. And more to come."
The songs are called "Rise" and "Catherine," the latter of which is a remix of the theme from Ninn's 2005 movie of the same title and has "a 'Kashmir'-Led Zeppelin kind of feel to it now," Ninn told AVN.com.
Ninn said Sacred Sin is aimed at the "couples market" and will be available September 13. The DVD will feature music videos for both Van Halen songs. Ninn is also releasing a nonexplicit version of the film, to be called Rise.
