Kool Keith returns as Doc Oc
Veteran rapper to revisit his sexually deviant persona for first studio album in 10 years, The Return of Dr. Octagon.
With lyrics that would make a hooker blush, veteran oddball Kool Keith is returning to one of his alter-egos, the sex-obsessed Dr. Octagon, for his first studio album under that moniker in 10 years.

Instead of reconnecting with Dan "the Automator" Nakamura Keith, the producer of 1996's Dr. Octagonecologyst, the former Ultramagnetic MC has teamed up with the Berlin-based production team of One Watt Sun for the project, aptly titled The Return of Dr. Octagon.
The new album, the follow-up to 1996's Dr. Octagonecologyst features Keith rapping "about dying trees, peanut-butter-assisted stalking encounters, gorillas driving pick up trucks, and searching for a perfect world," according to OCD International (part of the World's Fair label group), which is releasing the album June 27.
The album will include guest appearances from DJ Dexter, formerly of the Avalanches, as well as Philly rapper Princess Superstar. It was recorded in One Watt Sun's Berlin studios, as well as a 12th century turret in Prague and Australia's Byron Bay, the label said.
The album won't be the only Dr. Octagon project hitting stores. On April 25, Insomniac Music is releasing Nogatco Rd. (yep, "Dr. Octagon" backwards) by Keith's alter ego under that name. It is an enhanced CD that includes a sci-fi movie and a digital comic book.
